English people go to Tibianews forum or TibiaPL forum's, not to this one. This one is from spanish website, so English people will understand a bit or nothing.
But I really hope many people enter this website, even if they are not spanish-talking people.

And so nobody speaks here, also, almost all of you speak more spanish than english so I think that's a problem, cuz if we wanna talk with anywone from another country, the normally is that we speak in english, for example, if you want to talk with a dutch man you will speak in english cuz' i think germans don't know how to speak spanish and we neither know how to speak german, and then we speak in english =D
a bit confusing? well, i just have that to say =D

I didn't think about it in that way. It is true that most of the people who visit this site are latinamerican. For my surprise, I have found some people who speak at this forum and they are not latinamerican but American or English. I think that the main purpose of this forum is to clear some doubts for people who have trouble reading in spanish and are interested in the news.

I think the best way to learn english is.... seeing movies (with the subtitles, obvoiusly). And the other thing is "you got to think in english". That helps a lot. This last time, I got to do it, because I'm in something with a girl, she comes from the United States..a pretty girl ;)

Best way to learn english is playing games in english, choosing the option "English" instead of "Spanish" in the Movies, PC Hardware, Software, PC Games... etc.

My english is good thanks to:

-Tibia
-Gaia Online
-PC Totally in English

Concluding... the best way to learn english is practicing with a right model (english talkers, english programs, etc)

I saw Inuyasha like one year ago (xD) but now I don't see it (Don't ask me why because I don't know xD). About Naruto... I saw it but they "took" it in June or July of the programmes list, and Naruto won't return after November-December-January. So I can't see the new episodes! ¬¬ xD. 3 months are enough to learn the language pretty well. I studied one year in the US and it helped me a lot; my brother, who knew NOTHING about English, was there for 6 months and he learned it really well.

Videogames help A LOT, but only when you have some previous knowledge, like it was said before. When this happens you ability to think faster and write in English increases, believe it or not; I always expend like an hour or two talking with my little in-game sister :) and I have the chance to practice what I learned and to learn more about anything, like another language (she speaks French) and some new modisms.

School will never be replaced by a videogame; it is basic and important to take your time and acquire the fundamental knowledge before trying something more complex than a videogame or lecture.

I don't understand a lot the Catalá forum, but some comments of people have a lot of bad words.

LOL, that's what an ignorant thinks. As you said, you don't speak catalan, so you don't know what we talk about. It's one of the few threads of TH which is not full with silly noob questions.

The only point to have an argument in english is to practice the language. Really I've learned most of the english that I know in Tibia, well not really in tibia, but on fansites and non supported pages when i was looking for information. And in my opinion the practice is the most important thing to learn any language.

Yes, you are right, throughout the time that we are in “contact” with the English we learn more. And they say that the forums of other languages are for people who do not speak Spanish, but, we are not going to create each different topic each you see that we see an interesting topic, no?

The Català thread is a normal offtopic thread, where everything is discussed, such topics as politics, school, Tibia and others.

Your translator sux, and so you do for believing what a translator translates - machines are way worse than humans.

At least you understand what I was trying to say ;)
